a little about cheree

Welcome! Just landing here is an act of courage. Breathe deep and exhale, you’re not alone in this anymore. We’ll sort through the hard stuff side by side.

I’m a therapist who works at the intersection of mind and body — because healing isn’t just about talking through experiences, it’s about helping your nervous system feel safe again. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, somatic approaches, and shaped by the belief that healing happens in the context of safety, compassion, and connection. Trauma can leave you feeling stuck, shut down, or like parts of you are always on high alert. Together, we’ll work gently to create new pathways for balance, resilience, and a deeper sense of self-trust.

I love working with people who feel deeply (even if you’ve learned to mask it). My style is relational, collaborative, and creative — sometimes practical, sometimes playful — always aimed at creating a safe space for you to show up exactly as you are. Therapy with me often weaves together nervous system regulation, exploration of old patterns, and concrete steps to support change in daily life. My role is part guide, part mirror, part cheerleader — and sometimes comic relief, because even in hard work, laughter has a place.

What you can expect when we work together:

  • A space where your story is honored without judgment

  • Steadfast presence, warmth, and respect

  • Feedback and perspective that’s clear, compassionate, and useful

  • Support in turning insights into real-life practices

  • Humor and humanity alongside the hard stuff

Outside the office, I’m the creator and designer behind (mostly) therapeutic-inspired art and merchandise that blend healing language with humor and creativity. I’m also a lifelong learner (with more trainings and books than I could ever possibly finish), and I find joy in art, animals, meditation, and exploring the big mysteries of the universe. As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring lived experience to my work and honor the many ways brains and bodies move through the world. Most of all, I’m deeply rooted in love for my chosen humans, who are my grounding force.

At the heart of my work is a simple truth: healing from trauma takes time, safety, and compassion — but it is possible. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.
